Uncovering How Businesses Use SSE’s Data Tools: A Qualitative Study

I led a qualitative research study to uncover how businesses interact with half-hourly energy data and their specific data needs. Collaborating with the marketing team and another researcher, I conducted customer interviews, organized research sessions, and compiled key insights into a comprehensive report. By asking, “How do our customers use SSE’s data products?” we gained valuable insights into their energy management challenges and how they engage with SSE Clarity. These findings played a key role in shaping the future of SSE’s products, driving user-focused improvements, and ensuring data tools better support business decision-making.
